Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHELEN FRANCIS MARSHALL (nee MICHALSKI) 1909-2000 Helen, beloved mother of Neil, age ninety years, passed away suddenly at Victoria General Hospital on Monday January 17, 2000, after a prolonged illness. Helen was predeceased by her beloved husband of 42 years Raymond (Zeder) in 1982. She resided in St. Johns District all her single and married life until 1974 upon retiring from the Civil Service, where she intermittently served for 34 years for Canadian Immigration Dept. and Canadian Government Elevators, working as a stenographer and private secretary. During 1942 she also carried out similar duties for the war bond drive. Helen is survived by her son Neil, her brother Dr. Adam Michalski (Isobel) of Burlington her sisters Nellie Ostapovitch from Montreal , and Genevieve Sloan (Lloyd) from Seattle and many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the staff at Victoria General Hospital ( Emergency Dept.) also to St. Boniface Hospital & Misericordia Cornish Centre for their care and compassion. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, January 20, 2000 at 2:00 p.m. at P. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 156 Marion Street. Viewing half hour prior to service.
