MARGARET THEODORA SIRANT (nee Johnson) On Saturday, January 15, 2000, Margaret Theodora Sirant passed peacefully back to God at Riverview Health Centre after a courageous battle with Alzheimer Disease. Margaret was surrounded by loving family and will be fondly remembered and deeply missed. Margaret was born on June 25, 1923 in Winnipeg where she met and married her "Willie". Together Willie and her enjoyed many years of companionship and love. They travelled to Hawaii, England, Scotland and Europe. She was a superb seamstress; an avid bowler and she loved to dance. She provided a good, loving home for her husband and children. Margaret loved her family and took pride in their accomplishments. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will now join her father as well as her mother who was called to God when Margaret was at the tender age of three. Margaret leaves a lifetime of special memories to be cherished by her husband Willie; her son Michael (Gail) her daughters, Carole Olson, Pat Grafenauer (John) her grandchildren, Jason and Cathleen Olson, Mark Grafenauer, Luke Brett and Alex Sirant and her great-grandson Matthew. She will also be sadly missed by her brother Stan Johnson (Eldora) as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and relatives. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 20 at 12:30 p.m at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue with Father Michael Winn officiating. Interment will follow the service at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Mom, we are forever thankful for your memories, teaching and love.
