Ralph was born April 7, 1936, the first of 10 children born to John and Rose Wazny of Anola, MB. He spent most of his life in that area. He had attended Queens Valley School in Vivian until Grade 6. He started working in the City for Consolidated Motors/South Park, became a licensed mechanic and then at construction outfits, JD Construction where he became an ace diesel mechanic, Northstar Construction and numerous more.
