MONICA WILLSON (nee BOTHWELL) It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Monica Willson on Monday, January 17, 2000 at the age of 76 years. Remaining to forever cherish Monicas memory are her children, Linda (Ed) Rick (Lorraine) and Ron (Mavis) grandchildren, Kelly (Wayne), Kristine (Dan) and Brad; and by one sister, Peggy of Langdon, ND. She was predeceased by her husband Ken in June of 1999; her parents, Charles and Gertrude Bothwell and one sister Norrie. Monica was born in Makinak, Manitoba on October 8, 1923 and it was there that she met Ken and they were married on October 9, 1943. She enjoyed working alongside Ken during their 23 years with Indian Affairs. Monicas joys in life were her family, baking, gardening and the canine members of her family, Heidi, Jessie and Jenny. In compliance with Monicas wishes, a private family service will be held. Interment will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made in Monicas memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent Road, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R2L 1X3 or to a charity of ones choice. Our family would like to thank the Ste. Anne Ambulance, Dr. Lemoine and the Ste. Anne Police Department for their help and compassion. Mom, although we will miss you very much, we know you are at peace and that you and Dad are together again.
