Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROSE MARIE KLIEWER Suddenly on Wednesday, January 19, 2000 at the Victoria General Hospital in Winnipeg, MB, Rose Marie Kliewer, aged 59 years, of Brunkild, MB. Rose is survived by her mother Linda Walchuk of Richmond, BC; her son Arnold (Kelly) Kliewer of Golden, BC and their children, Sean and Kevin and her daughter Rachel (John) Hallick of Starbuck, MB and their children, Sydney and Taylor. She is survived by three brothers, Ray Lahner of New Denver, BC, Wayne Wolchuk of Vancouver, BC and Bill Reagan of Osoyoos, BC; two sisters, Karen Forsyth of New Denver, BC and Edith Hammerstedt of Selkirk, MB and numerous nieces and nephews. Rose was predeceased by her father Joseph Lahner. Rose was involved in Special Olympics, was a reporter for the Valley Leader and the Carillon paper, and was the Post Master for the Brunkild Post Office for 29 years. Rose was also a proud member of the Canadian Post Masters and Assistants Association. She called bingo in Sperling and enjoyed her trips to Club Regent. Rose loved to laugh. Her passions were her love for her children and grandchildren and lets not forget her bingo! Funeral service for Rose Kliewer will be held on Sunday, January 23 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Brunkild with Pastor Jim Halmarson officiating. Lunch will follow at the Brunkild Hall. Memorial Donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation Canada, 900 St. James St., Suite 208, Winnipeg, MB R3G 3J7 or to the St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Brunkild, MB R0G 0E0.
