YVON ARPIN On Wednesday, January 19, 2000 Yvon Arpin, passed away at the age of 76 at the Health Sciences Centre. He leaves to mourn his beloved wife, Helene, (nee Joyal) his children, Maurice (Cecilia), Louise (Eugene Croucher), Gisele (Norbert Collette) and Claude (Carole) grandchildren, Emmanuelle, Kelli, Stephane (friend Dana), Chantal, Melanie, Danielle and Nicole. Also survived by his brother, Paul and sisters, Zephirine and Reine as well as his brothers and sisters-in-law, Annette, Marguerite, Lucien and Edouard and numerous nieces and nephews. Yvon was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Anna (Morin) his sisters, Laure and Denise and brothers, Noel and Georges. Yvon had a great love for his family, especially his grandchildren. So many hours were spent working on his farm and provincial park, beautifying "la grotte de St. Malo" and offering graciously his services to his parish church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 22, at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Malo Roman Catholic Church. Father Joseph Choiselat officiating. Interment of his cremated remains to follow in the parish cemetery. Should friends so desire, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., R3B 2H8.
