Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRED (ERNIE) COCHRANE Peacefully, following a lengthy illness. It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Freddie, on January 20, 2000 at the age of 65. Ernie will be sadly missed by his sister, Marge McNish and husband Jack; sister-in-law, Helga Cochrane and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sister, Martha and brothers, Edwin and Findlay. During his working career, Ernie was employed at CN and lastly, at Stony Mountain Penitentiary. He was an avid hockey player and belonged to the "Old Timers" hockey team. Ernie also enjoyed sitting and listening to "Johnny Cash". Ernies wishes were to be cremated. A private family service will take place at a later date. The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to the nurses and staff of the Charleswood Care Centre.
