MARION LANGTRY Marion passed away quietly and peacefully Thursday, January 6, in Maple Ridge, B.C. Born March 27th, 1924 in Winnipeg, she was the youngest of ten children of George and Nellie Price. She grew up in the toughest of times of the thirties in Winnipeg with her brothers and sisters and cherished good memories. Marion and her brother Joe (Mary) Price, by chance recently shared some of those memories just before Christmas. A blessing. Predeceased by her husband, Dick, she is survived by her three sons, Richard (Lorraine), David (Dorothy) and Bob and her second husband Dan Smith of Brandon. In recent years, she enjoyed the company of her family and many friends. Her grandchildren, Michael, Jennifer, Christie, Rod and Jackie were always showing up at the right moment. Her dear friends, Harold and Connie Johnson from Winnipeg also exemplified this. A memorial service was held near Davids home in Port Coquitlam, B.C., on January 10. The eulogy was given by her brother Jacks wife, Kay. Marions remains will join Dicks in Chapel Lawn at the perimeter highway this spring. Her spirit is with him now. Donations may be made in Marions memory to your local Lung Association.
