EDNA LILLIAN SWEERS (nee PAYNE) It was with great sadness that John Sweers and Carol Buckley said their last good-bye to their mother, Edna Sweers, from her bedside on Wednesday, January 19, 2000 at the St. Norbert Nursing Home. It provides some comfort to the family to know that she was not alone during these tender moments and passed away peacefully at the age of 81 years. Predeceased by her husband John W. Sweers on December 4, 1974; Ednas spirit will live on through her children, John A. Sweers, Carol Buckley, Doreen Sweers, Bob Sweers, Edna Jolicoeur and her husband Ernie. She will be sorrowfully missed by her grandchildren, Penny and Dan Buckley, Stanley, John and Melony Jolicoeur, Shirley Jawarski, Lindsay and Darren Sweers and (the oldest of three great-grandchildren) Steven Jolicoeur. Edna will be fondly remembered by her niece Hermine Kotylak and her nephew Hank Sweers. A private family funeral service will be held. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, friends may make donations to a charity of their choice. Our entire family voices a very heartfelt "thank you" to the capable nurses and staff of the St. Norbert Nursing Home for the dedicated care and attention that they had provided during Ednas stay in their facility.
