Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMAY ANTONIA BILIK (KWIATOSLAWA) Peacefully on January 22, 2000, May Bilik passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital. May was born in Winnipeg in 1936 at the St. Josephs Hospital to Methody and Mary Santavy. She attended, at an early age, Laura Secord and Gordon Bell Schools. She married Stephen Bilik in 1955 and they had four children, Deborah (Gordon) Ruddell, Byron, Carter, Alyce, May (Bill) Sanford; three grandchildren, Michelle and Stacy Ruddell and Katheryn Sanford. Her other family members are her sisters, Rose Hewitt, Genevieve Werstiuk and Pauline Loiselle. She was predeceased by her sister Mary Oretsky and brother Cyril Santavy. May graduated with her Bachelor of Education in 1979 at the University of Manitoba. She taught at St. Alphonsus, Dufferin and Mulvey Schools. She was an active member of Tela Toastmistress which started her quest for world travel. Cremation has taken place and a service will be held at a later date. To those whose feelings I have hurt, Im sorry, please forgive me. The family would like to thank the St. Boniface doctors, nurses, staff and volunteers of the 3rd floor Palliative Ward, also to those friends who took the time to phone and also took time to come and visit. Thanks to Niijii and his master Dennis, the Wandering Minstrel Ernie, Sisters of St. Benedict and Grey Nuns for their prayers, and also Gods Communion givers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mays memory to the Christmas Cheer Board, 358 Knowles Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R2G 1E1. Cropo Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements, 586-8044.
