SEGUARD MILES CORBETT August 10, 1929 - January 18, 2000 Cast your eyes on the ocean Cast your soul to the sea When the dark night seems endless Please remember me Peacefully, following a lengthy courageous battle with cancer, Seguard Corbett completed his journey with his family by his side on Tuesday, January 18, 2000. Seguard will be lovingly remembered by his wife Pauline, three sons, and family for his generosity, courage, compassion and strength. Born in Stenen, SK, raised in Birch River, MB, he worked as a private contractor, building highways, airports and significant projects across western and northern Canada. He travelled around the world with his wife and children and adored the precious time he spent with his five grandchildren. A private service was held for the family and in the summer a gathering to celebrate his life will be held at his final resting place in Birch River, MB. In lieu of flowers, please send any donations to Thoracic Malignancies, in care of Research of Cancer Care Manitoba, 100 Olivia St., Winnipeg, MB R3R 0V9. The family would like to extend their gratitude and appreciation for the wonderful care Dr. Mihalcioiu and Jayne Olson provided, along with the dedicated and compassionate staff of the Manitoba Cancer Care at the Health Sciences Centre, VON services and Home Care. Thank You. Such A Long Journey LEATHERDALE GARDINER 1858 Portage Avenue 949-4872
