HELEN GIESBRECHT (SCHRITT)
Date of Passing: Jan 22, 2000
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHELEN GIESBRECHT (nee SCHRITT) It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden but peaceful passing of our Mom and Gramma on January 22, 2000. Her presence in our family will be greatly missed as she was always there for all of us, no matter what. Her love for her family was endless. We will miss her so very much. Mom is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Linda and David; and her granddaughters, Melanie (Jayson) and Lindsay (Shayne), who brought her such great joy always. She was always very proud of them and their achievements. They were her "Sunshine" and "Sugarplum". She is also survived by her brother Ernie (Dot) of Toronto, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Mom was predeceased by her dearly beloved husband Art (1979) and missed him greatly over all these years. We feel they are together now and happy once again; also predeceased by her parents, Peter and Katharine; and her brothers, Peter, Johnny and Henry. Our family would like to thank all of the staff on GH3 and Dr. Bard at the Health Sciences Centre for the care and compassion that was given to Mom. The wonderful TLC she received made the long time spent in the hospital a little easier to bear. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. However we would like to extend an invitation to all family and friends to join us in a "Come and Go" in Moms memory on Friday, January 28, 2000, from 2:00 until 5:00 in the afternoon at her home in Roseisle, Manitoba. Please join us in a celebration of her life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in her memory. We love you and miss you Mom and Gramma and you will be in our hearts and memories forever. THOMSON FUNERAL CHAPELS 783-7211
