Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDAVID WILLIAM HARPER It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, David Harper, on January 21, 2000 at the St. Boniface Hospital, at the age of 79 years. David was born in St. Peters, MB on March 9, 1920. He served in the Canadian Armed Forces during the Second World War and hold the rank of Sargeant. He was predeceased by his wife Vera; son David (Dutchie) and his close companion of many years, Ruthie. He is survived by daughters, Olive (Ron) Inman of Selkirk and Debra of Winnipeg, son Dale of Winnipeg, sister Olive Lillie of St. Peters, brother Arnold Harper of Gimli; grandchildren, Barbara and Sheila Inman of Selkirk and many other grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Prayers will be said on Tuesday (tonight) at 7:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 26 at 1:00 p.m. also in the chapel with Legion Padre Peter Cain officiating. Members of the Legion will form a Guard of Honour and hold Legion Rites. Interment to follow in the St. Peters Cemetery, family plot. "We will miss you Daddy, always and forever."
