CHARLES AUGUSTE ROY Charles Auguste Roy passed away peacefully at home on Monday night, January 24, 2000 at the age of 75 years. "Till we meet again" Charles was born in Otterburne, MB on August 20, 1924 and has lived in Otterburne, then during the past 20 years in Medicine Hat. He is survived by his wife Elisa; nine children and spouses, Bernadette, Jacinte (Jeannot), Andre, Liliane, Lucien (Pat), Florence (Allan), Viateur, Albert (Lynn), Georgette (Greg). Also left to carry his legacy are 13 grandchildren, Nathalie, Marie-France, Crystal, Jimmy, Grant, Alana, Carl, Miranda, Jason, Steven, Rene, Neil, Stacey, and Georgettes coming baby in April; four great-grandchildren, Jeffrey, Sabrina, Taiya, and newly born Vincent. He is also survived by ten brothers and sisters. Charles was predeceased by two daughters, Lorraine and Veronique; his parents, brothers, and many other loved ones whom he has now joined. The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to his daughter Jacinte, son Albert and fiancee (Lynn) for granting Dads wish to remain at home until his last hour. Dad was grateful for the good care and comfort received during his illness and sincerely appreciated all who came to visit him. Prayers will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, Medicine Hat, AB on Friday, January 28 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patricks Catholic Church, Medicine Hat, AB on Saturday, January 29 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. A special thank you to Home Care, Cancer Clinic, and all those who assisted the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Palliative Care Society or the Medicine Hat Cancer Clinic, 666 - 5th St. S.W., Medicine Hat, AB T1A 4H6.
