Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCLAUDETTE AUDETTE (nee LORTEAU) After a lengthy illness, Claudette passed away on January 24, 2000 at the Riverview Health Centre. She leaves to mourn her beloved husband Henri and three sons, Brian, Terry and Randy Wright; grandson Randy Perreault. She also leaves two brothers, Remi (Monique) and Michael (Colleen) Lorteau; three sisters, Lilliane Trubyk, Jeanne Korobanik and Suzanne (John) Rankin; son-in-law Marcian Laurencelle, wife Fleurette and grandchildren, Chantal, Gerard, Angele and Lise. She was predeceased by her parents, Louis and Germaine (nee Andre) Lorteau. Claudette graduated as an L.P.N. in Thunder Bay. She worked at the Zone Hospital in Sioux Lookout, at the Deer Lodge Hospital, then Tache Nursing Centre. She did home care work, and in later years was babysitting. Prayers will be said at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 28 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street. Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 29 in the St. Eugene Roman Catholic Church, 1007 St. Marys Road with Father Leo Couture presiding. Interment of cremated remains will take place at St. Labre Cemetery at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff and Dr. Marr of Riverview Health Centre for their excellent care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Claudettes memory to the Canadian Cancer Society (Manitoba Division), 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 9Z9.
