Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBRENDA CORINE JENSEN It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Brenda, at the Health Sciences Centre on January 25, 2000. Brenda leaves to mourn her mother Sharon, her companion Todd Robert, and her grandmother Evelyn Smith. She is also survived by her sister Evelyn (Todd) Penner of Igaluit, Nunavut; brothers, Murray and Trent (Gisele) nieces and nephews, Joel, Jesse, Jared, Krystal, Kelly, Tylor, Keshia and Tenissa. She will also be missed by her aunts, uncles and cousins. Brenda was predeceased by her dad in 1994 and sister Marilyn in 1991. Brenda was born on June 9, 1965 and lived in Winnipeg most of her life. She was a Brownie and continued into Girl Guides until the 526 Winnipeg Grenadiers took her interest in her teenage years, at which time she received a trophy for the Most Improved Cadet. She attended Bernie Wolfe School and graduated from Transcona Collegiate. She loved spending Thursday afternoons playing bingo with her grandmother at the Legion, babysitting her family and friends children, and doing her knitting. When she left this world, she left the pain behind and was greeted by her dad and sister. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral service will be conducted by Rev. Carol Fletcher on Monday, January 31 at 1:00 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St. Service to terminate at the chapel. Pallbearers will be brother-in-law Todd Penner; cousins, Mark, Nick, Kenneth and Kirk Hanuschuk; and friend Alfred Jenkins. In lieu of flowers, if friends so wish, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 301 - 352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
