WILLIAM JAMES BELL Unexpectedly on Tuesday January 25, 2000 at the Victoria General Hospital, it is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Bill Bell. Left to cherish him forever are his loving wife of 49 years, Marie; mother Florence, aged 90; his children, Henriette Combot and Ross of Kelowna, B.C., Dianne Dreger-Reimer and husband Rick, Georgie Dreger and Don, all of Winnipeg, Judy and husband Craig Hamblin of St. Adolphe, Tim and Tangie of Winnipeg; brother Elgin and wife Simone; sisters, Lorraine McLeod, Dorothy and husband Paul Leduc; sisters-in-law, Shirley Zeron, Georgie and husband Paul Landry; and daughter-in-law Audrey and husband Paul Anderson. Grandpa "Boogie" will also be deeply missed by his 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Bill was predeceased by his father Robert Bell, brother Art, son David, Aunt Effie, son-in-law Dale Dreger, and brother-in-law Angus McLeod. Bill was born and raised in Morris. This is where he met his wife Marie. Together they shared close to 50 wonderful years. Bills happiest times were when he was with his family. His family kept the sparkle in his eyes. As an expression of sympathy, if friends so desire, memorial donations may be made in Bills memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, Manitoba Division, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, Mb. R3C 2B7. Our family wishes to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to Dr. Maxwell and his outstanding Oncology Staff for their wonderful care and compassion; and to all our friends for their support. Cremation has taken place. The memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 29 at 2:00 p.m. at the Morris United Church, with reception following in the church auditorium. Arrangements by the Morris Funeral Home, 746-2451. We will miss You Boogie!
