ALICE ELIZA SWAIN On Tuesday, January 25, 2000 at the Tache Nursing Home Alice Eliza Swain, passed away at the age of 91 years. She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory, daughters, Rita Swain and Betsy Kematch (Raymond) son, Norbert Swain (Melanie) grandchildren, Clarita (Gill) and Nanette (Dave) and grandchildren, Mason. There are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Prayers were said on Thursday, January 27, at 7:00 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave., Winnipeg. Wake service will be held on Friday, January 28, at the Berens River Community Hall. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 29, at 2:00 p.m. at the Berens River Roman Catholic Church Berens River, Man., with Father Rheal Forrest officiating. Interment to follow at the Berens River Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at 4D3 of the Tache Nursing Home for the compassionate care given to Alice.
