ARTHUR FONTAINE November 7, 1921- January 2, 2000 After a lengthy battle with cancer, Arthur (Art) Fontaine passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2000 at the Riverview Health Centre, Winnipeg, Manitoba, at the age of 78 years. Arthur was predeceased by his wife Mary, parents George and Josephine, brothers Felix and Norbert and sisters Delarose and Dorothy and a granddaughter Shannon. He leaves to mourn his wife Frances, daughters Vanessa (Justin), Mildred (Howard), Linda, Norma (Paul), and sons Ronald (Mary), Norman, Dennis (Valerie). He also leaves his sister Margaret and brothers Edward (Vicki), Wilfred and Howard (Aline) as well as 24 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Wake services will be held at the St. Alexander RC Church, Ft. Alexander, Manitoba on January 4 and 5. Funeral Liturgy will be Celebrated on Thursday, January 6 at 2:00 p.m. also from St. Alexander RC Church, Ft. Alexander, Manitoba with Fr. F. Paradis officiating. Interment in the Parish Cemetery.
