JOSEPH HARASYMCHUK On Saturday, January 1, 2000, after a lengthy illness, Joe Harasymchuk passed away at the Park Manor Personal Care Home at age 76 years. Joe was predeceased by his mother and father, Annie and John; sister Mary Kostiuk; and brothers, Dan, Walter and Nick. He is survived by his sister Sophie (Joe) Nawalski and sisters-in-law, Mary Harrison and Dorothy Harrison. Joe was born December 23, 1923 in Winnipeg, then lived on the farm at Dugald and later moved to Transcona where he has since made his home. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 6 at 2:30 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St., with viewing held one-half hour prior to the service. The Very Rev. Msgr. V. Bozyk will officiate. Burial at the family plot, Transcona Cemetery. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
