PAUL DENNIS LASHEWICZ It is with great sorrow that we announce the accidental passing of our beloved Paul on January 1, 2000. Paul will be lovingly remembered by his wife Jackie; and daughters, Brooke and Paige; his parents, William and Patricia; brothers, Patrick (Heidi), Kevin; sisters, Lisa Gannon (Gary), Linda Mayhew (John). He is also survived by his in-laws, Lorne and Gladys Sorenson, Lisa Lillies (Jamie), Jeff (Darcy) as well as four nephews and three nieces, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Paul was born June 14, 1970 in Ste. Rose du Lac, Man. and was raised in Headingley, Man. He attended school at Phoenix Elementary, then proceeded to Ness Junior High and John Taylor Collegiate. He was an outgoing individual with plenty of energy. Over the years, he enjoyed playing hockey, skiing, snowmobiling, baseball and loved the outdoors. Coming from a large family, he rarely passed up the chance to attend a function. From this, he learned to cherish the precious time spent with his "Girls" who were his pride and joy. Paul was a kind person who made friends easily wherever he went. He freely gave of his time and energy and was always ready to lend a hand. A loving husband, devoted father, cherished son and brother and loyal friend. We will miss you Paul. Funeral service will be held in the St. Charles Roman Catholic Church, 320 St. Charles Street, Winnipeg at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 6. Msgr. Michael Moore will officiate. Interment to follow in the Meadow Lea Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made towards a trust fund for "My Girls" at the Royal Bank of Canada in Stonewall.
