ALBERT EDWARD MOORE-MARSDEN December 31, 1999 With deepest sorrow, the family announces the sudden passing into eternal rest of Albert Edward Moore-Marsden on Friday, December 31, 1999, at his residence in Winnipeg. Albert is survived by his two sons, John James (Marilyn), and Robert (Gladys) also one daughter Christina Davey; as well as his special grandsons, Steve and Norman Moore; and other grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn one sister Mary Stagg Sr. of Dauphin River who will sadly miss him. Albert was predeceased by his wife Mary; they were married for 65 years and lived in Dauphin River, Fairford, Lake St. Martin and Winnipeg. He was a fisherman, trapper and storekeeper in which he developed mathematical skills that were unequalled. He always provided well for his family and their extended families. Albert had a unique sense of humour, which he shared with his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and his many friends. He always enjoyed to have a good laugh, and there was never a dull moment wherever he went. He wasnt a rich man nor did he have many possessions, but what he had no person could buy or imitate. He truly loved God and believed in Him with all his heart. He also made a lot of people believe too. Albert was also involved in Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada and was also a Pastor for a long time until his passing. He was also predeceased by his two daughters, Katherine and Edith; and by one son John Edward. A wake service will be held on Wednesday, January 5 at the Fairford House of Prayer beginning at 7:00 p.m., followed by a wake service on Thursday, January 6 at the Lake St. Martin Pentecostal Church, beginning at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 7 at the Lake St. Martin Pentecostal Church beginning at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Pat Anderson officiating. Interment to follow at the Lake St. Martin Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Steve Moore, Steven Moore, Norman Moore, Bobby Moore, Albert Davey, and Shawn Moore. Crossbearer will be Matthew Moore. Honorary pallbearers will be his nephews and nieces, Stagg Family and sisters-in-law and all who knew him as a dear friend. We thank the Chiefs and Councils for all of their support, and the Arnason Funeral Home, as well as all the ladies that did all the cooking. "For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain" - Philippians 1:21 Welcome Home Welcome home my child, my son, Your work on earth has been done. You have been a witness to many while on earth, and youve shared the story about the miracle of birth. You never hid the fact that you loved me. You shared the word no matter what the need be. You spoke of me often to family and friends, and you showed how faith can strengthen and often mend. You did your best to always give glory to me, and for this you will live eternally. And now the time has come for you to rest. Im taking you home as my special guest. Welcome home my child, my son, Your work on earth has been well done.
