OLIVE EVA MOYSE (Nee McCorrister) Odd Fellows, Ruth Rebekah #3 Royal Canadian Legion Branch #65 Life Member Legion Ladies Auxillary Passed away peacefully at the Grace Hospital in Winnipeg, Man. on December 31, 1999 at the age of 90 years late of Portage La Prairie, Manitoba. Olive was predeceased by her husband Gerald Henry Moyse in 1976. She will be lovingly remembered by her sister Eileen (Art) Diehl of Cypress River, MB, daughters Geraldine (Eric Morris) of Ottawa, Ont. Maxine (Floyd Lacroix) of Poplar Point, MB, Dorothy (Steve Kufflick) of Winnipeg, son Grant (Dolly) Moyse of Ottawa and daughter Elizabeth Henry of Portage La Prairie. She also leaves to cherish her memory many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. In fulfilment of Olives wishes, a Memorial Graveside Service will be held at the Evergreen Memorial Gardens at Portage La Prairie on Saturday, January 8 at 10:30 a.m. with Olives nephew, Rev. Rick McCorrister officiating. Friends and relatives are invited to meet at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel, 56 Royal Rd. S. at 10:00 a.m. from where the Funeral Cortege will commence. After the service, family and friends are invited to gather for a Memorial Tea at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 65, 275 Duke Ave., Portage La Prairie, MB. As expressions of sympathies, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Olives memory to the Odd Fellow & Rebekah Memorial Eye Foundation, 295 Broadway Ave., Winnipeg, Man., R3C 0R9, The Odd Fellows Tower, 151 Royal Rd. N., Portage La Prairie, MB R1N 1V6 or to a charity of choice. A tree will be planted in memory of Olive at Evergreen Memorial Gardens by McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel who are entrusted with the arrangements.
