GWENDOLYN QUEST PLANT (McLEAN) 1905-2000 On January 2, 2000 at the Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg, Gwen passed away peacefully. Gwen was the widow of the late Harold A.B. Plant and the daughter of the late Edward W. and Sarah E. Mclean. Gwen was born in Winnipeg on January 6, 1905. She attended Summerset, Mulvey and Kelvin schools and the University of Manitoba, graduating with her B.A. in 1927. She was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Fraternity and a past president of the University Womens Club. During her life she volunteered her time to many clubs and organizations. She was predeceased by her husband Harold, brother Wilson E. McLean and her sister Muriel F. Wright. She is survived by her daughter Donna Q. Macaw and son-in-law Kenneth W. Macaw; grandchildren, Sidney Q. Macaw and W. Arthur Macaw; brother-in-law Eric W. Plant of Florida; also nieces, Joey F. Purdy and Pam F. Cohen; and nephew William E. Wright. At the request of the deceased no funeral service will be held. Cremation has taken place. Flowers are gratefully declined and donations in her memory maybe made to the Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg Foundation, 280 Balderstone Rd., West St. Paul, MB R4A 4A6.
