EVA G. SMITH (GERTIE) (DODGE) Peacefully on January 3, 2000, Eva G. Smith passed away at Central Park Lodge, 440 Edmonton St. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Wayne (Ivy) Dodge of Tacoma, Wash.; her granddaughter Diane (Steven) Moore and great-grandchild Dana; her grandson Larry (Lynn) Dodge, great-grandson Michael and great-granddaughter Jennifer; her daughter Rowene (Roy) Clark; her grandson Keven (Valerie) Clark and great-grandchildren, Jamie and Shannon; granddaughter Lori (Martin) Natiuk and great-grandsons, Graham and Gordon; and many nieces and nephews. Gertie was predeceased by her husband Fred Dodge in 1948 and James A. Smith in 1986. She was associated with the International Association of Hairdressers and taught hairdressing in Marvel Schools in Regina and Winnipeg. A Service of Remembrance will take place at the Central Park Lodge on Friday, January 7 at 2:00 p.m. Thank you to the staff at Central Park Lodge for their care and kindness, especially the staff on the 8th floor.
