Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIDA ELIZABETH "BETTY" FOULDS After a brief illness at the Concordia Hospital on Tuesday, January 4, 2000, Betty Foulds, aged 76 years, beloved wife of Wilfred Foulds of Argyle, Man. Betty was born April 10, 1923 at Glenboro, where she received her education. Following her education she joined the R.C.A.F. and serving in Canada until she received her discharge in 1946. On April 10, 1946 she married Wilfred and they farmed at Argyle until her death. Betty was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, particularly her flowers. The time spent with her children and grandchildren was the most important time of her life. She was predeceased by her parents, George and Pearl McConnell; one sister Louise Lowrey; two brothers-in-law, Jim Lowrey and Paul Zasitko. Surviving besides her husband Wilfred are two sons, Ross (Kim) of Argyle and Rae (Barb) of Fort McMurray, Alberta; two daughters, Bev Agar (Bob) of Nanaimo, B.C. and Ann Foulds (John) of Victoria, B.C. There are five grandchildren, Chris, Jeffrey, Jamie, Tanya and Kayla; one sister Shirley Zasitko of Victoria and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held in the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall on Friday, January 7 at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Mary Best will officiate with interment to follow in the Warren Cemetery. Friends who so desire may make donations to the charity of their choice. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of the arrangements.
