MANYA (MINNIE) KUSHNER Manya (Minnie) Kushner, widow of Winnipeg lawyer Chaim Kushner, Q.C., died Monday, January 3, 2000, as a result of Lewys Bodies Dementia at Cedar Village Retirement / Nursing Home in suburban Cincinnati, Ohio. She was 86. Mrs. Kushner, the widow of Minneapolis nlawyer Jonas G. Schwartz, married Mr. Kushner in 1968 and moved to Winnipeg. She moved to Cincinati in 1997 after Mr. Kushners death. Mrs. Kushner is survived by daughters, Miriam Shelomith, Minneapolis, and Harriet L. Kaufman, Cincinnati; brother Dr. Norton Rogin, St. Louis Park, Minn.; and two granddaughters. She also is survived by Mr. Kushners son, Avrom, and daughter Miryom Trupish, both of Winnipeg, and Mr. Kushners five grandchildren. A Private Memorial Service will accompany interment in the Beth El Synagogue Cemetery in Minneapolis, some time in the next few weeks. The traditional week of mourning will be Thursday at the Kaufman home in Cincinnati and Friday-Sunday, January 7-9, at the Rogin home, 1674 Westwood Hills Dr., St. Louis Park, in suburban Minneapolis.
