VIOLET MITCHELL Violet Mitchell passed away on January 4, 2000 at the Scarborough General Hospital. Violet, loving wife of the late Howard Mitchell. Dearly loved sister to Olivia Feather and Nancy Ross McKean and the late twin brother Victor Culley. She will be fondly remembered by her nephews, Tom Feather (Debbie), Ross Feather (Raewyn) and Robert McKean, as well as step-son Howard Jr. and step-granddaughter Cynthia. Violet was a lifetime member of the C.C.F./N.D.P. and at various times in her life was a valuable and dedicated secretary to such well known people as, J.S. Woodsworth, Tommy Douglas, David Lewis and David Orlikow. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 7, 2000 at 2:00 p.m. at The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre - North York, 275 Lesmill Rd. (off Leslie Street, one light south of 401) 1-416-441-1580. Cremation.
