JEAN MARGARET MITCHELSON Peacefully on January 4, 2000, Margaret Mitchelson passed away in the presence of her family in the Deer Lodge Centre, at the age of 82 years. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Richard on February 13, 1998 and is survived by her son Donald (Bonnie) daughters, Joan (Norm), Barbara (Bob), Beverley (Don) and Brenda (Walt) and her grandchildren, Michele, Scott, Donald, Jackie, Paul, Jaymee, Kathleen, Barbara, Robyn and Martin. Margaret was born and raised in Melita, Man. She lived there until moving to Winnipeg at the age of 16, when she enrolled in Wesley College (University of Winnipeg). Following the completion of her education she met Richard, marrying him in 1937. Margaret was a devoted wife and mother, her family was her priority in life. Friends may call for visitation between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 6 in Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway. There will be a funeral service at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, January 7, also in Thomson Funeral Chapels. Flowers are graciously accepted, or if desired, donations may be made in Margarets memory to Cancer Care Manitoba, 100 Olivia St., Winnipeg, MB, R3E 0V9. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to all the staff of 4W at Deer Lodge Centre for their care and kindness. Also, thank you to Ivy Harrision at the Victoria General Hospital.
