Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALBERT EDWARD BADY Ed, formerly of Winnipeg, Manitoba, passed away suddenly January 26, 2000 at the age of 77 years at the Aberdeen Hospital in Victoria, BC. Survived by his loving wife Lorraine, sons Brant, Murray (Heather), sisters Doris (William) Bellemare-Dawes, Lorraine (Dieter) Wagner, nieces, nephews, cousins, and brother-in-law William Firby. Predeceased by his father Karl, l946, mother Emily Yapps, September 8, 1999 and brother-in-law Joseph Zak, 1986. Ed grew up in Seven Sisters Falls, MB. He moved to Winnipeg in 1942 and spent many years as a building contractor and businessman. In 1975 he moved with his family to Victoria. Throughout his life Ed took delight in building things, outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting and gardening, and passing on his knowledge and experience, including his playful sense of humor. He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends, both young and old alike. In accordance with his wishes, there will be a cremation and private family gathering. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson Foundation of Canada, 204-825 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, R3A 1M5.
