KENNETH ALEXANDER ROSS In his home on Thursday, January 27, 2000, Kenneth Alexander Ross of Portage la Prairie, passed away at the age of 79 years. Ken will fondly be cherished by his loving wife Irene of Portage; son Duncan, daughter-in-law Myrna and grandchildren, Kelly and Cameron, all of Winnipeg, whom he dearly loved. Monday evening, January 31, at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel, 56 Royal Rd., S., there will be a visitation and viewing from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 1, at 2:00 p.m. from St. Marys la Prairie Anglican Church, 36 2nd St., S.W., Portage la Prairie, with The Rev. Norman Collier officiating. Interment is to follow at St. Marys Cemetery, Portage. As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in remembrance of Ken, to Herman Prior Centre - New Doors, 40 Royal Rd., N., Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 1T9, Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, Portage Office, 103 Wilkinson Cres., Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 1A7 or that you simply do something nice for someone else, like giving a smile. A tree will be planted in memory of Ken at Evergreen Memorial Gardens by McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel who are entrusted with the arrangements.
