JOHN ULICKY (ULICKI) It is with sad hearts that we announce the sudden passing of John on January 27, 2000 at the Deer Lodge Centre, at the age of 59. John was predeceased by his beloved wife Dorothy West in 1993; his father Dymitr in 1970, his mother Paraskevia in 1977; and his niece Christine in 1989. He will be lovingly remembered by his brothers and sisters, Marie Haight (Trevor), Andrew (Cheryl), Nestor (Katherine), Lawrence (Stephanie), Joseph, Anne, and Phillip (Kathie) and his many nieces and nephews. John worked for C.N. Rail until his serious automobile accident in 1991. Johns determination to live after the accident was instrumental in his nine year residency at the Deer Lodge Centre. Through overcoming many obstacles, he lived a meaningful life attending to personal affairs with a healthy dose of good humour. Special thanks to his sister Anne and friend George for their devotion and loving care. Georges wonderful sense of humour lifted Johns spirits and brightened his days. It was a privilege to know John and to see Gods living grace and love poured out to him. Many thanks to all his caring friends for their uplifting support. John will be sadly missed. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 3 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. at Luxton Ave. with Fr. Isidore Dziadyk, OSBM. officiating.
