Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJACK JOSEPH ZARYSKI (ZARYCKI) Jack Joseph Zaryski passed away peacefully on Friday January 21, 2000, in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Jean (nee Zaretsky) for 60 years. Dear father of Ruth and her husband David Jackson, Jim and his wife Susan, Gerry (Justen), and Linda and Bryan Smith. Loving grandfather of Eric and his wife Jennifer, Larissa, Tim, Tanya, Karl, Toban, Michael and Anthony. Survived by his sister Katerina and many nieces and nephews in Kasperivci, Ukraine. Jack immigrated to Canada alone in 1928 at the age of 16 to join relatives in Ethelbert, Manitoba. He worked at many jobs across Canada before becoming a welder and forming his own successful business Ontario Collision and Welding. Weld a Friendship was his slogan and he did just that. He was a great craftsman, loyal friend, helpful neighbour, devoted husband, father and grandfather. The projects he built with his hands for his family will live on as well as his love and devotion to each and every one of them. Funeral was held on January 26, at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 6191 Yonge St., Toronto followed by cremation at his request. Memorial Donations may be made to St. Vladimirs Institute, 620 Spadina Ave., Toronto or to the Alzheimers Society. Our gratitude to all the staff at Caressant Care, Harriston, Ontario.
