EMMA MARIE ALLARD (nee MANAIGRE) November 7, 1910 - January 29, 2000 Passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 29, 2000 in the Maples Personal Care Home at the age of 89 years. She was predeceased by her husband Eugene (1959) son-in-law, Jake Reimer (1964) son Denis (1980) son-in-law Bob Roberts (1990) by her brothers and sisters and life long friends, Henry Lagimodiere. Emma is survived by her children, Rose Manness (Bruce), John, Wilfrid (Marge) of Winnipeg, Jeannine Roberts of Kitchener, ON and daughter-in-law Helen Allard (Denis) of Regina, SK; her grandchildren, Wendy Allard-Bean (Earl), Valerie of Regina, Theresa of BC, and Michelle Allard of Regina, SK, Todd Reimer (Brenda) of Winnipeg, Andrea MacLean (Doug), Grant Roberts (Collette) of Kitchener, ON and Jennifer Allard of Winnipeg and also by her nine great-grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Staff of the Maples Personal Care Home, 2 West, for their excellent care and compassion. Prayers will be said on Monday, January 31 at 7:00 p.m. from Green Acres Funeral Home, Highway 1 East at Green Acres Lane. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 1 at 10:00 a.m. also from Green Acres with The Rev. Msgr. Maurice J. Comeault, P.H., V.F. presiding. The interment will take place in Green Acres Memorial Gardens with the following acting as pallbearers: Todd Reimer, Grant Roberts, Paul Lagimodiere, Claude St. Germain, Maurice Manaigre and Glen Nickel.
