MacNAIR October 6, 1918 - January 28, 2000 Peacefully, on Friday, January 28, at the Fort Garry Care Centre, with his beloved wife at his side. Douglas was born in Calgary, Alberta on October 6, 1918. He is survived by his wife Juliette; his nine children, Bob (Jennette), Evelyn (Leonard), Diane (Denis), Marie (Tony), Louise (Denny), Gerald (Lise), David (Joelle), Pat and Paul; 15 grandchildren, Tonya, Jennifer, Jody, Jeffrey, Jason, Aimy, Randy, Dylan, Brittany, Alain, Andre, Bobby, Julie, Joey and Jocelyn; two brothers, Maurice (Fran) and Alfred (Pat) and one nephew Les. He was predeceased by his son Edward in July 1976 and one sister Helene. A service of remembrance will be held on Wednesday, February 2 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Vital Parish, 1629 Pembina Hwy., presided by Father P. Morand. Private interment of cremated remains will take place at the St. Boniface Cemetery. The McNair family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to all the staff from the Fort Garry Care Home for the excellent care given to Douglas. Dad, sleep gently, We will love you forever.
