JOYCE BUCHANAN (nee NOESS) After a courageous battle with cancer, Joyce Marion Buchanan (Noess) passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2000 at the Grace General Hospital. Joyce was born November 26, 1925 and lived in the Vantage, SK District & Moose Jaw, SK until marrying Gordon Buchanan in 1945. There were many moves in her life, but she has lived in Winnipeg since 1972. Remaining to forever cherish Joyces memory are her daughter Nancy, son Ross (Charleen) granddaughters, Colleen and Karen and grandson Kyle; brothers, Melvin (Edith), Stewart (Sheila) and sister Illa (Doug) as well as special friend Jack Watson and his family. She was predeceased by her mother Mabel in 1971 and by her father Albert in 1978. Joyces funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 2 at 3:30 p.m., in the Chapel of the Grace General Hospital, 300 Booth Dr., Winnipeg, MB. Interment will follow in Mossbank Cemetery, Mossbank, SK on Saturday, February 5 at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made in Joyces memory to the Manitoba Cancer Treatment and Research Foundation, 100 Olivia St., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
