EMIL FICK On January 30, 2000 Emil Fick passed away to join his wife Linda, leaving behind his loved ones, Al and wife Lynn of Nashville Tennessee, Audrian and husband David Kinsman of Ottawa, Ontario, Barry and his wife Randy of London, Ontario and June and her husband Martin Riley of Winnipeg; his grandchildren Terri, Heather, Andrea, Stephen and Graham; and great-granddaughter Taylor. He loved his children above all else, was proud of each one and, with his wife Linda, laboured tirelessly in difficult times to provide for them. We will always remember him as an intelligent, perceptive and wise, yet humble, man. Content to be in the background, his quiet kindness and loving presence were always felt and always will be. He leaves us with a legacy unmatched by any other - the truth that no gentler soul walked the face of the earth. A special thanks to all the staff of 7AWest of St. Boniface Hospital for their understanding and support for us at this most difficult time. You treated our father with dignity and respect.
