RICHARD (DICK) HILL On Sunday, January 30, 2000, Dick passed away at the age of 74 years, after a brief illness. Dick was predeceased by his parents; his brother Jack (Len) and infant son Gerald. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Lila; daughters, Judie (Joe Nieckarz) of Hazelridge, Man., Sherron Dickson (Julian) of Fredericton, NB; son Stephen of Winnipeg, sister Dorothy Eitel (Don) of Waterloo, Ont. and brother Robert (Bud) (Mary) of Nepean, Ont., as well as many other relatives and friends. Dick was born in 1925 and lived and worked in Winnipeg all his life, retiring from Standard Aero Engine in 1987 after 34 years. Cremation has taken place. The family will hold a memorial reception and invites friends to join them at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street, Thursday, February 3 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. The family would like to express their gratitude and appreciation to the staff at 3 East, Riverview Health Centre, Dr. Warren and Dr. Taraska for the care and kindness provided to Dick.
