He leaves to mourn his loving wife, Shelley of 16 years, and the joy of his life, his daughter, Megan. He is survived by his mother, Marthe; his sisters, Jeanine and her children Carl and Josee, Micheline (Paul-Andre) and their children, Frederic and Sebastien, Danielle (Jean-Paul) and their daughter, Karine; his brothers, Christian (Vera) and their children, Ross, Ralph and Christine, Berthier (Monique) and their son, Patrick, Gerald (Vivianne) and their daughters, Suzie and Anne. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Bernice Conquergood and his sisters-in-law, Darlia (Dave) and her children, Dale, Sean and Holly, Rhonda (Mark) and their children, Corey, Christy, Marnie and his brother-in-law, Dale and his daughter, Dana. Gaetan was predeceased by his father, Albert Dube in 1982; his father-in-law, Hilt Conquergood in 1990 and his brother-in-law, Yves Dugal in 1988. Gaetan was born in St. Honore, Quebec on February 25, 1945. At the age of five, his family moved to Quebec City. In 1965, he moved to Montreal to take his hairdressing course. After working in Montreal, Toronto and Ottawa, his experiences took him in the new direction of sales in the Beauty industry. In 1975 he moved to Winnipeg where he later met and married Shelley in 1983. In 1982, he joined Ralph Herget as a partner in Complete Beauty Supplies. Gaetan found his calling there. He not only had a profound impact on the industry, the salons, the effect he had on his staff will long be remembered. His compassion, vision and drive was embraced by each member. To him they were an extension of his family. His closest friends should remember him for his love of music and dance. Whether he planted tomatoes in the yard, cooked up a storm in the kitchen, or visited with friends in the garage, the radio was always on. To share stories over a cold beer with his family or friends was one of his greatest pleasures. His memory will live on in Shelley and Megan. Remembering the many bonfires in the backyard. The constant renovations over the years that produced a beautiful home filled with wonderful memories and the many, many friends who will forever be there. Shelley and Megan would like to thank Pat and Murray Wedlake and their family for their love and support during this difficult time. Especially for making Gaetans last Christmas a very special one, one he treasured and one they will treasure forever. There are so many people that gave of their time to ensure that Gaetans final days with us were filled with love, laughter and compassion. Shelley and Megan would like to send their love and deepest gratitude to Gerry Gregoire, Dale Melanson, Ralph Herget, Mary Stadnick, Martial and Louise Morin, Sam and Irene Lemoine, Lorne Campbell, Wally Wegier, Hugues Plante and all their sisters, brothers and in-laws.
