Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGERALD BRUCE SARAILLON Suddenly on January 31, 2000 at age 65, Gerald Bruce Saraillon passed away. Gerald was born February 6, 1934 in Winnipeg and was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Florence Saraillon. Gerald grew up in Norwood Flats until he built his home in Charleswood in 1962. Dad will be greatly missed by his wife Joan, children; Neil (Cathy), Donna (Jeff) Provost, Carol (Jeff) Scott. Grandpa will also be missed by his special little helpers; Zachary, Jordan, Bradyn and Ashlyn. He will also be missed by his in-laws; Peter and Elsie Larsen, Dianne and Bruce Freeman, Mary and Ivan Jensen of Vancouver. Dad also leaves his sister Evelyn (George) McKenzie of Ontario. Dad was an exceptional person who was loving, kind, wise and fun. He was never too busy to help someone and everyone in the neighborhood will miss him. His morning coffee group at McDonalds will also miss his jokes and friendship. For many years Dad was Santas driver in the Santa Claus parade and he enjoyed seeing the smiles on the childrens faces along the parade\route. He was affectionately known as "Mr. Fix-it". He will also be missed by the Boy Scouts who relied on his handy skills. According to Dads wishes, a private family gathering will take place at a later date. The family would like to extend many thanks to the Winnipeg Emergency Services and the staff at the Grace Hospital. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 301-352 Donald Street, Wpg MB R3B 2H8 or a childrens charity of your choice.
