KIKI MILAS (nee ANASTOS) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Kiki Milas at the Oakville Trafalgar Hospital in Oakville, ON. after a brief illness. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Phyllis (Bruce) Henderson of Mississauga; son Jim of Prince Albert; grandchildren Nicole, Amy, Jack, and Scott; her sisters Voula (Nick) of Athens, Greece, and Georgia (Andrew) of Winnipeg; brothers Gus of Vancouver, and Harry (Harriet) of Lafayette, CA.; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Kiki was born on February 27, 1935 in Zoni, Greece. She first moved to Winnipeg in 1958 and worked for many years as a hairdresser. Kiki was well known by many and had established a loyal clientele. She was a generous person, always willing to help those in need. Kiki was a lady of many talents. She left Winnipeg in 1985 and returned to her mountain home in Zoni, Greece, where she enjoyed gardening and keeping busy with her numerous hobbies. She returned to Canada in January of 1999 to be with her daughter during the course of her illness. Funeral service will take place on February 3, 2000 at the Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church in Mississauga, ON.
