SCHROEDER 1912 - 2000 On Tuesday February 1, 2000, at the Morden Hospital, Henry Schroeder, age 88 years, of the Lions Manor, Winkler went to his eternal rest. He leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife Anna Schroeder (nee Braun) of Salem Home, Winkler; four daughters Rita Schroeder of Grand Marais, MB; Elvira and Henry Peters of Altona and children Reynold and wife Tami, Rob and wife Greta, Kenton and wife Megan; Helen-Anne and Brian Metzgar of Calgary, AB and children Melissa and Melanie; Liz Schroeder of Calgary, AB and children Dale and wife Sharla, Stacey; two sons Edwin Schroeder and Marie Wood of Calgary, AB and children Jerry, Bryan and Julie; Vic and Leona Schroeder of Winnipeg and children Andrea and Ainslie; three great-grandchildren and four brothers. He was predeceased by parents Gerhard G. and Katharina Schroeder, step-father David Janzen and three brothers. Viewing will be held on Thursday and Friday from 1:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Wiebe Funeral Home Winkler (121 8th St.) and at the church prior to the service. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 5 at 1:30 p.m. at Winkler Bergthaler Mennonite Church (6th and Mountain) with Rev. John P. Klassen and Rev. Menno Janzen officiating. Interment will follow at the Kronsthal Cemetery.
