Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLAWRENCE PAWELKO Peacefully, on Monday, January 31, 2000, Lawrence, with his sisters by his side, fell asleep in death, after a courageous battle with cancer at age 67. He was born on May 27, 1932 in Beausejour, Mb. He is survived by his sisters, Tena Herzog of Seven Sisters Falls, Leona Skrypnyk (Andy) of Surrey, BC, as well as half-sister Kay Latocke (Paul) of Winnipeg, Mb.; numerous nieces and nephews and his maternal aunt Helen Stachniak. Lawrence was predeceased by his father Frank in 1965 and his mother Roszalia in 1980, sister Sophie Pallick in 1998 and her husband Russell in 1999, and twin brother Edward in 1998. Lawrence was a very private person. In respect of his wishes, cremation has taken place. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of the Health Sciences Centre, GH 4 for their kindness and caring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba Cancer Treatment Foundation, 100 Olivia St., Winnipeg, Mb. R3C 0V9. Sobering Funeral Chapel, Beausejour in care of arrangements.
