MIHALY (MIKE) GOTTLI It is with great sorrow and sadness that we announce the sudden, peaceful passing of a loving husband of 51 years, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, who went to join his Creator on January 31, 2000. He is survived by his wife, Anna; children, Maria (Andras) Legeny and Laszlo (Adrien) Gottli; grandchildren, Giselle (Thomas) Lisoway, Laszlo Gottli, Andrew Legeny, Sylvia Gottli and Michael Gottli; his great-grandchildren, Stephanie, Joshua, Quintin and Matteo Lisoway; sister and sister-in-law in Hungary, nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was predeceased by his parents, one brother, one sister-in-law and two brothers-in-law. Mihaly (Mike) was born on September 20, 1923 in Hercegkut, Hungary. Pallbearers will be Laszlo Gottli (Jr.), Andrew Legeny, Michael Gottli, Thomas Lisoway, John Gottli and David Androvic. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Andras Androvic, Joe Gottli, Aladar Hollosy, Ference Hunkler and Lajos Sari. Viewing and Prayers will be said on Friday, February 4, at 7:00 p.m. at St. Bernadette Parish, 820 Cottonwood Rd. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 5, at 10:30 a.m. also at St. Bernadette Parish, with Rev. Fr. Gerry Ward officiating. Interment will follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mihalys memory to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 4G2.
