Dad will be lovingly remembered by Mom, his loving wife for 43 years, Louise "Memere" (Lemire) his children, Donald (Gisele), Lise (Wayne) Houde, Mona (Maurice) Cure, Diane (Rhonda) and Robert. Pepere will also be remembered for being young at heart with his grandchildren, Miguel, Daniel, Justin, Melanie, Brigitte, Michele, Melissa and Melinda. A special thanks to peperes best friend, his dog Buddy, who stayed by his side throughout his whole illness. Dad is survived by his brothers, Basile (Therese), Joseph (Edvidge), his sisters, Rose (Amedee) Joubert, Sylva (Alvin) Auranger, Laurette (Guy) Trudel, Ida (Eugene) Beaudry; stepsister Therese Mahe and many brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces. Dad was predeceased by his parents, Alphonse and Annie; sister Fernande, brothers, Denis and Albert; stepsisters, Jeanne (Armand) Carriere, Emma Wold, and stepbrother Edouard. Before his retirement in June, 1998, Dad spent 33 years working for the R.M. of De Salaberry where he made many friends. Whether you met our Dad through work, in a 12 step program, an aerobics class, or on the street, we know that he has touched your heart. For this, we thank you all. Funeral service will be on Saturday, February 5 at 3:00 p.m. at the St-Pierre Roman Catholic Church. We would like to extend a very special thank you to all of you who came to visit our Dad, especially through his illness, to all of you who called and to those of you who had him in your thoughts and prayers. Our warm felt thanks to the Cancer Clinic in Steinbach, who made his chemotherapy and treatments, that much more bearable, and to the staff at Centre Medico-Sociale de St-Pierre, for their care and support. Dad, we love you and leave you, until then... In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Cancer Society or to a 12 step program of your choice.
