MARJORIE ELIZABETH ROBINSON (nee GUEST) Marjorie Elizabeth Robinson, passed away February 1, 2000 at CPL Poseidon Care Centre at the age of 93. Predeceased by her husband, Allen Dinwoody Robinson in 1971; by two brothers, Harold and Gordon, and by her sister, Dorothy MacQuarrie. She is survived by a daughter, Dorothy Lee Wilson (Keith) two sons, George (Ann) and James; daughter-in-law, Lee and by five grandchildren, Eric and Ian Wilson, Susan and Carol Robinson and Shane Robinson. She is also survived by her brother, Benson. Marjorie was born in Winnipeg on May 12, 1906, the daughter of George and Martha Guest, and moved to Elfros, Sask., at an early age. She graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 1927 and obtained her teaching certificate from the College of Education the following year. She then taught in elementary schools until her marriage on July 2, 1932. When she moved to Winnipeg she actively participated in many organizations and was a long-time member of Crescent Fort Rouge United Church and the University Womens Club. For many years she was a summer resident at Victoria Beach. The family is ever grateful for the care she received during her long residence at Poseidon Bay and for the support of her many friends. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 5, at Thomson Funeral Chapels, with Milo Spooner Craig officiating. THOMSON FUNERAL CHAPELS 783-7211
