REVEREND DANIEL JOSEPH FIRTH Ushered peacefully from the presence of his family to the presence of the Lord, Wednesday, February 2, 2000 in his 87th year at the Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville, Ont. Born in Glenelg Township he served the Lord faithfully as a minister in the Presbyterian Church of Canada since 1944. His life is celebrated by his wife Beatrice (nee Amory) his children, Marion Beatrice Firth, Winnipeg, Peter and Laurel Firth, London, Kathleen and Doug Miles, Edmonton, David and Jane Firth, North Carolina, Naomi and Jim Klaas, Guelph, Lois and Cameron Macdonnell, Newmarket, his 19 grandchildren and one great-grandson. The family will receive friends at the Doney Funeral Home, Shelburne, Ont. on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Funeral service in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, February 5 at 2:00 p.m. Spring interment Durham Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Christian charity of your choice would be appreciated.
