RONALD (RON) HEDGE On February 2, 2000, Ronald George Hedge passed away. Ron will be lovingly missed by his wife of 49 years, Lenore; his children, Bruce (Kathy), Gail (Bob), and Gary (Judy). "Pops" will be affectionately remembered by his grandchildren, Jessica, Cheryl, Lenore, and Kerri. He is also survived by his sister Margaret, brother Ted and their families; as well as several cousins. Ron was born July 29, 1927 in Winnipeg. He was employed by the C.N.R. retiring after 37 years of service. Following retirement he and Lenore travelled extensively to Africa and Europe; as well as enjoying many winters in Palm Springs. His summers were spent at the family cottage in Minaki, ON and he will be greatly missed by his many friends there. He was an avid sportsman being a past president of the Charleswood Curling Club. As well he was passionate about golf and was the familys resident golf pro. In accordance with Rons wishes no funeral service will be held. Instead, friends and family are invited to share their memories of Ron with Lenore and her family at Lot 640, Hwy. 26, St. Francois Xavier, MB on Saturday, February 5, between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of ones choice.
