Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARION GILLESPIE Peacefully on January 28, 2000, Marion Gillespie passed away in the Deaf Centre Manitoba at the age of 96 years. Marion was predeceased by her husband William; daughter Shirley; and brothers, Frank and Charlie Price. She will be sadly missed by her son Ronald and his wife Carol; grandchildren, Curtis (Andrea), Rawni-Lyn (Warren), Shawna (Dave) and Dana (Jay) great-grandchildren, Tyler and Jadyn; sister Jean Cartmel of Vancouver; nieces, Elaine Jordan, Donna-Jean (Dieter) Voortman of Calgary and Frances Larkin of Ottawa; and nephew Randy (Leslie) Price of Winnipeg; and great-niece Leanne (Len) Denbraber and family. Marion was born in Baldur, MB in 1903. She received her teaching certificate for Normal School and taught in various locations throughout Manitoba. She gave up her teaching to dedicate her life to her family. There will be a family funeral service at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, February 7 in the Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway, followed by interment in Elmwood Cemetery. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the wonderful caring staff of the Deaf Centre Manitoba. Flowers are gratefully declined.
