MOLLY KASPER (nee Marcinyszyn) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear sweet mother and baba, Molly Kasper, in her 91st year on Wednesday, February 2 at Oakview Place. Born June 7, 1909 in Ukraine, she came to Canada at the age of 18. She was predeceased by her husband Adolph and granddaughter Christine. She leaves to cherish her memory her brother Wasyl Marcinyszyn; her four children, daughter Alice (Glen) Shaw, Shirley Demetrioff, Irene (Klaus) Baumbach and son William (Delores) her grandchildren, Diane (Ivan) Csath, Doug (Raymonde) Shaw, Darlene (Don) Karlstedt, Debbie (Jim) Stobie, Fred (Elsa), Darcie, Rory, Pearl-Leah Demetrioff; and her great-grandchildren, Graeme, Derek, Jennifer, Jessica, Karina, Kevin and Isabelle; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She will be remembered for her generous spirit, her dedicated commitment to her family, her love of music, her smiling face and clapping hands. Special thanks to her care givers at Oakview Place where she resided for eight years. Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 7 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. at Luxton Ave. Interment to follow in Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Ave. Rev. Fr. M. Kouts will officiate. If friends so desire, donations may be made in memory of Molly to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Manitoba Division, 102-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6.
